An efficient and allergy free way to heat your home in Canberra's climate

What to do:

Hydronic heating utilises heated water, which is run through plastic pipes in your new concrete slab, between your timber joists, or using radiators in your rooms to heat your house.

Hydronic heating can be run 4-6 degrees cooler than ducted gas or split system heating, as the heat transfer is absorbed differently and there is no cooling from passing air currents. It uses thermal mass principles and convection and is great for those with allergies.

We can provide advice on adequately sizing your new hydronic heating system to provide the right capacity for the demand of your house while keeping your energy consumption as low as possible. The heat source can be provided by a heat pump or gas boiler depending on your budget and your carbon footprint.
